Those citizens who receive the Disability Living Allowance have an exemption in the age restriction and they can start driving a 4-wheeler from age 16. The license aspirants have to first get a provisional license first. The provisional driving license holders have to then pass the main UK driving license test that consists of three sections as theory, perception of real-time road hazards test, as well as driving examination with a supervisor. On passing this test, the provisional license gets upgraded to the full UK driving license.
Renewing a driving licence

This means that you will not need to renew your photocard or entitlement to drive until 11 months after your original expiry date.
